Bruce Springsteen - american musician. the king of american heartland rock (sorry johnny cougar). 19 grammy's on his mantle and the dude still rocks the power slide across the stage...THAT is why he's the boss.
Roy Orbison - musician. always considered roy a little on the mysterious side...blind...not blind...who knows?? sight or no sight the man could write a song to sit and think to. reminded me of ghost with a guitar except no flying for this guy...stand, strum and sing! the way it ought to be.
Mike Tyson - american boxer. the most feared man in the world back in the 80's....and well you could say he still is. even though mike ran with a rough crowd, you can't take away the man's crazy ability in the ring. warhol took ali...i'll take tyson.
Sam Cooke - THE american soul singer during the 50's and 60's. wasn't really a fan of the genre until my buddy DEMANDED i listen to the album, "Sam Cooke: Live at the Harlem Square Club, 1963"...w/o a doubt best live album that has ever coated my ear drums. Thanks J.P.

Perfect Strangers - fabulous late 80's television program. Larry Appleton on the left, Balki Bartokomous on the right. it was 30 minutes of wide eyed slapstick comedy and sweet sweaters... a real "can't miss" around the horner household back in the day. i can't take full credit for this one coming to life...gotta give props to my bro Jord for reminding me of these two old friends (hope this goes nicely next to your 6 foot by 8 foot chief joe tapestry).
This is a drum head cover that i did upon request of my friend Mike Duncan who is the drummer in the band The Brook Lee Catastrophe. Go to there website (www.brookleemusic.com), take a listen and buy thier ablum. i promise you won't be disappointed...super talented bunch of dudes.
"orson"Orson Welles - american film director/producer back in the 30's and 40's. famous for his film "citizen kane". people say he was interested in "exposing the demagogic gullability of American audiences", which he did flawlessly with his radio broadcast "the war of the worlds".
Dolly Parton - country music singer/performer. sass 'n' sequins.
Sammie Davis Jr. - singer/comedian from back in the day. i liked the way he talked thus i painted him.
Keith Richards - guitarist for The Rolling Stones...enough said.
Keith Moon - former drummer of The Who. the first and only true ROCK STAR as far as i'm concerned.
Mick Jagger - frontman for The Rolling Stones...enough said, again.
Grace Slick - fronted Jefferson Airplane and Jefferson Starship. one good lookin hippie w/ a killer voice.
Truman Capote - american writer. and no i haven't read Breakfast at Tiffany's but i think it's a cool title.
